Seawall in Port Mouton
During the Eid holidays two weeks ago, I returned to Canada to visit the cottage and check out our new seawall. I mentioned in an earlier post that I was shocked to see photos of how big it was. Well, when I actually went and stood on it, I was even more surprised to see just how big it is up close
I thought I would try a different approach this time and create a slide show in Flash. Click here to see our new seawall.
I also met with the septic field guy to get a quote on how much that might cost. Putting a septic field so we can have proper plumbing is not a cheap venture. However, I must have a warm bath and running water for the dishes so we shall bite the bullet and get it done.
Just for some colour, and to have a nice photo, I want to share a design that one of my students submitted for our yearbook interface. I was very impressed with it:

With only the smallest amount of encouragement, she went off, found some design examples, selected the best elements and put this together. I shall keep the blog updated on our progress.

With the student, she is quite technically oriented and has a good eye for design.
