We have sent our stuff along to Halifax in a 20 foot container. There was much debate about what to take and what would fit. In the end, we were running around the nearly empty villa looking for a few more things to fill the last 1-2 square meters of space.
As you can see, there really wasn’t much space left. I am worried that anyone looking at this photo may decide that they are busy on the unloading day – |-| .
The actual loading of the container was quite an art form. My task was to tick off each of the 167 boxes that were loaded into the container as they went in.
The fellows loading the container were very jovial, and I was quite amazed at their skill in fitting the boxes together in a 3-d jigsaw puzzle.
Now we are living, or should I say camping, in an almost empty villa. However, with a TV from Jojo and Tiina, pillows and plates from Yvonne, and the I-Pod, we are rocking.
