This post is a sequel to “Snow on Hester and Renovations on Hester. These photos were taken on January 2, 2009 after a particularly heavy snowfall (at least for Nova Scotia).

The above picture is looking north towards our house. The person walking is in front of our house.

From this angle you can see the side and front of the house with the new porch. If you look at the first link above, you can see what the house looked like with the old porch.

Once these pictures were taking, a little bit of snow shoveling started.
