Taking advantage of a long weekend, a bunch of guys from the HCT (and me) went off on a hike through the Jungle Book Wadi again. I did this hike about one year ago.
The first section of the hike is a 2-3 hour leisurely stroll through boulders…
… and wide open wadi walls.
You need to be careful, watch your footing and not stare up at the scenery too much.
After a short break in a bowl like area…
… we started to run into waterfalls which forced us to scale the wall at points and creep along ledges.
After 3-4 hours into the hike, we were starting to focus on our feet and try to keep going. After all, the entire time, we were going …

… up.
