.. went fishing in our canoe to Ten Mile lake where…

… we actually caught some fish.

We also spent a lot of time at the beach, any beach … pick one in the neighbourhood…

.. where we sat on the rocks and watched the people stroll by.

We also spent a lot of time with a great friends and neighbours. This is what visitors first saw when they arrived.

We had some people come down to the point to see us as well.

It wasn’t all fun and games though. We managed to do a few days’ work as well.

I cleared a lot of land then had to clean up a lot of land. Working in the woods is a very dirty job!

It is also very thirsty work.

Next year, we will build a deck in this area and you are all invited down for a few days in the country.

But then, it is all over and time to go …
