Now that we are somewhat settled in our new granny flat, I can put up a map and a few shots from the neighbourhood. You can see in the map our location. Note that we are actually in 18A. If you click on the map to zoom in, you will see our granny flat is actually behind the main house. Interestingly, if you use street view, you will see the roof of an older building where our flat is. You can zoom out to get some perspective on where we are.
Most of our neighbours assure us that they have never seen a snake or a deadly jellyfish, or a funnel web spider, however there are signs of snakes and at least three people have died from shark attacks. I am sure it is all fine though!
Australia has some great natural wonders and vistas, …
… some very interesting flora…
… and some amazing fauna.
We also have a few wonderful attractions just a short walk away …
Sydney has a load of ferries going every which way as well. Our local ferry starts at Rydalmere on the Parramatta River…
On the way, you get to see some wonderful landmarks such as the Sydney Harbour Bridge …
… and the Sydney Opera House.
Don’t be shy!
