Fort Lauderdale Shopping Trip

Part of our contract to move to Barbados included a 6-month duty-free grace period to bring in personal items. To take advantage of this duty-free period, we took a short trip to Fort Lauderdale to shop, shop and cruise around.

The beachwalk

During one of our days off from shopping, we took a water taxi and cruised up down the Intracoastal Waterway from Bokamper’s Bar (where we met John Gibson, a former Winnipeg Jet) to Margueritaville in Hollywood.
